Ready Set... Point and Click

I have always been a fan of point and click adventure games (especially the Monkey Island series) so I have devoted some time today to play Double Fines new mini game to comemorate Tim Schafer hosting the GDA Choice awards... I thought i'd share. (if anyone can find the 22nd joke you are a better man than me, I have one half of a joke on a sticky note left). It is amazing what you can do inside a browser game...

(It is well worth leaving the room when you have no jokes, then with some... i couldn't tell you what happens when you have all of them)

  1. Alex Wallace was just playing this, quite a coincidence.

  3. I'm a big fan of Double Fine and Tim Schafers, Alex is correct in my opinion... Tasha's Game is well worth a look, (the image on the post links to the game by the way)...

how did you do Alex? I never found the other part of the sticky note so only managed 21 and then closed the browser tab by mistake.

I'm not sure how i feel about Brutal Legend yet, I think it might have to do with my dislike for all things Jack Black

  4. Double Fines and all of Tim Schafer's games have all been great.

I Love Psyconauts, Grim Fandango but I still think that his best game was Day Of The Tenticle. Love the storyline and the ending is still great even though from the early 90s.

Brutal Legend looks great, has the traditional Tim Schafer look and feel about it, but will have to wait for the demo before getting any judgement from me

P.S The Browser Game is awsome, thanks for the reccomendation

  5. well i am a big fan of tim schafer and i agree with what you said about brutal legend.

The fact that Jack Black, a popular american star is featured in it could make the game almost too mainstream as opposed to being another little 'gem' hidden amongst the ever mounting pile of mediocre games out today. Im not holding my breath...

As for the browser game, im ashamed to say i only found 3 jokes! Ive bookmarked it and will be trying very hard to do better though!!
